New & improved: our AI-first intake and mapping process for any integration

by Green Dolphin Software, Integration practice

Scoping an integration used to mean spreadsheets, field-by-field specs, and a lot of back-and-forth. We rebuilt that whole front door to be AI-first: you describe the outcome in plain language, and AI does the heavy lifting — drafting the mapping, typing every field, previewing the result on real data, and catching problems before anyone builds anything. This walkthrough shows the new intake and mapping wizard end to end, for any source and target.

Describe the outcome — AI does the mapping

You start by saying what you want connected, in plain language. From there the mapping wizard auto-drafts the field-by-field mapping: every source field paired to its best target, with the data type inferred for each one — text, number, date, id, object, or array. No blank grid, no manual first pass.

See the result before anything is built

Every field shows a live preview on realistic sample data — and you can paste your own real records so the preview shows your actual values. Type a value, see exactly what lands on the target after transforms. What you see is what will run.

Plain-English logic — no code

Describe a rule the way you'd say it ("trim and uppercase the stage," "default the owner to UNASSIGNED if empty") and AI turns it into concrete, editable transforms. The same panel covers if/then conditions, defaults, constants, find-and-replace, value lookups, and combining fields (first + last into a full name).

Built for real-world data shapes

Real integrations aren't flat. The wizard maps collections / line items (one-to-many) and nested object sub-fields (address.city to shipping_city), plus a record-level sync filter so you only move the records you mean to.

Validation and one-click AI fixes

As you edit, automated validation flags issues immediately — duplicates, type mismatches, unmapped fields — with a one-click jump to each. The AI-fix button goes through the mapping, auto-corrects the flagged issues, and shows you exactly what it changed. Undo anything in a click. Nothing runs until you approve it.

Any integration, AI-first

This is the new front door for every engagement — Salesforce, Snowflake, NetSuite, your own database, a file feed, an in-house API. You bring the outcome; AI brings the mapping. Start your intake or open the mapping wizard.

Celigo vs Boomi vs Workato vs MuleSoft: how to actually choose

All four are capable platforms — the comparison threads ("Celigo vs Boomi vs Workato vs MuleSoft") rarely surface the decision that actually matters: who builds the flows, and who maintains them when an API changes. Here is an honest, vendor-neutral way to choose.

Case study: Salesforce to NetSuite, reconciled — a distributor cuts sync errors 92%

A mid-market B2B distributor was losing orders and days of finance time to a half-working Salesforce-to-NetSuite connector. We rebuilt the sync as a fixed-bid engagement — customer matching, SKU crosswalks, multi-currency, revenue timing, and error handling — and cut sync errors 92%. Anonymized; no client or project names.
